Friday 29th May. A nervous moment! There's something about watching young guys hold babies, like they're fragile pieces of thousand-year-old china!

Thursday 27th May. I know I'm spamming my son a bit lately, but I've had the flu the past week and it's just been the easy option! This is his new dressing gown, which he thinks is "niiiiice" because it's really soft and fluffy and warm.

Wednesday 26th May. Some happy mail I got - my latest book order from Booktopia! Love getting big boxes of books in the mail

Tuesday 25th May. I thought I'd forgotten to take a pic today but then I realised I had one to show someone who wanted to see my new haircut. So that'll have to do lol.

Saturday 22nd May - some of the American chocolates I found at a new store in my local shopping centre. My US friends tell me the prices are outrageous but they were all delicious so I don't really mind!

Day 39

Friday 21st May. We went into town to have dinner and do some shopping so on the way home I stopped at the foreshore and took the picture that I intended to take the day I left my memory card at home. Of course the pic I took that night was far better! Always the way. Pic 2 was taken when we got home, I just snapped the Moon just to see what it would turn out like.

Day 38

Thursday 20th May. A beautiful winter's day so we went to the local park. I took a lot of photos and picked out a few to put up. The lake is a wetlands shelter near our house, a bird breeding ground which cannot be disturbed. I loved how still it was and how all the houses were reflected in it so clearly. As we were walking to the park, a plane few over, leaving a long trail behind it so I snapped a few pictures of that too! Pic 3 is Hunter going down the slide by himself and about to cannon straight off the end onto his butt! Pic 4 my fiance took of Hunter and I going down the 'big slide' together and pic 5 is just some random tree I took on our way home.

Sunday 16th May. I took this picture of the little laptop that has got me by while my other one was 'sick' away in the shop getting fixed. It's 3yrs old and about a year ago, I knocked over a full glass of Coke onto the keyboard and it dripped down EVERYWHERE. I kinda thought that would be the end of my little laptop, but it's soldiered on well! I'll be happy to put it back away though when my proper one comes back!

Saturday 15th May. Logan again in the morning after a big night's sleep giving me lots of cute smiles! So now I'm all caught up with my pic a day and apparently, my laptop is fixed and will be returning to me tomorrow via courier so hopefully I'll be back to posting every day!

Friday 14th May. Who doesn't love a cute baby pic? This is Logan, aka Logie Bear, the youngest little member of our family (he's not my baby tho!), who is 2.5 months old. He was spending Friday night with us and was a perfect little angel

Thursday 13th May. Again, standing on the air conditioning unit out the back, so this is taken pretty much in the same position as yesterday but I dropped the view a bit so you can see the houses on the hill and just how LOW these black clouds were hanging! We thought we were in for some major rain, but the town I live in is surrounded by a plastic bubble which no rain ever actually penetrates. The clouds disappeared without a drop falling.

Wednesday 12th May. Pretty sunset... to get this shot I had to stand on the air conditioning unit out the back of our house to try and cut out as much of the back fence/nearby houses as possible and get in as much of the differing colours of the sky as I could!

Sunday 9th May. I kind of cheated with this one, because obviously, I did not take this picture. I wanted to upload this one tho, because today is Mothers Day. My wonderful fiance Rob made me breakfast in bed which I shared with Hunter :) I will definitely take another photo today of something myself and upload that, but I just wanted to put this one up too!

Day 26

Saturday 8th May. We spent today with my in-laws for Mothers Day as my partner has to work tomorrow. My father-in-law has an extensive and very diverse vegetable garden and my mother-in-law grows beautiful flowers. Top pic is a water droplet on one of my father-in-law's broccoli plants and the bottom pic is some pretty flowers that I cannot remember the name of. I'm not much of a gardener ;) Lol

Day 25

Friday 7th May. This is not the photo I intended to post! We went into the nearby big town for dinner and some mothers day shopping and on the way home I stopped to take a pic of the water front all lit up. It looked beautiful....except I am a retard and had taken my camera, but left the memory card in my laptop from where I was loading on previous photos that I'd taken! I was not happy with myself at all! So instead I just had to take one of the cute mothers day present we bought my M-I-L when we got home! She loves candles and pretty things like that.

Thursday 6th May. I took this photo of me and my little man Hunter. Not to self - D-SLR's are heavy and not the easiest of camera's to use for doing these shots! My arm was very sore at the end of our little photo shoot. It was a lot of fun tho!

Day 23

Wednesday 5th May. Today looked lovely....blue sky, sunshine! So after I fed the little man and myself breakfast I thought I'd rug him up and take him to the park. He's been cooped up inside for days too so I thought he'd like to get out just as much as me. However it was not as nice as it looked outside! Biting wind that ripped straight through us! We got halfway to the park before I decided to turn around and come home because it just wasn't worth it. I did get a couple of outdoor pics tho!

Tuesday May 4th... Been struggling a little bit for photos lately! It's been so cold (and rainy) lately that I can't get out much and search. M&M's are delicious though!

Thursday 29th April. This neat little row of toys means my little man is in bed and no chance of messing things up again! It's quiet time now!

Wednesday 28th April. I'm super excited because I have tickets to this band's farewell tour. Powderfinger were a massive favourite of mine all through high school and university. They're Australian musical icons! I'm so glad to be going to see them live one last time!

Tuesday 27th April.... Jumping on the clouds bandwagon! Did love how awesome the clouds looked in this shot.

Sunday 25th April... ANZAC Day. I know the nights are starting to get chilly and I need to search out his flannel rug when I find my other greyhound, Power, curled up on his lounge chair like this!

Day 12

Saturday 24th April..... we headed up to a pretty place called Healsville to their greyhound racing cup as my other half had to work there for the day. I took SO many photos (about 232 in the end I think) and I had a lot of trouble deciding which one I should use as my photo of the day. I couldn't decide between these 5, so they all went in! From top to bottom they are:
1) The pink (#8) in the first race getting ready for his race
2) 100m to go in the first race!
3) The 5 and the 4 fighting it out in R2
4) Some of the beautiful scenery driving home
5) Ditto....it was gorgeous. Beautiful green fields, rows of grapevines, mountains

Friday 23rd April...... taken on the way home from a nearby city...It was blowing a gale and plenty of rain (there's a rainspot on my lens lol) so it's not the best photo! But I do think it looks quite pretty with all the lights

Thursday 22nd April.... Some of our books! We both really like to read and we're also both massive hoarders! Thankfully this house has a couple of really awesome built in cupboards with nice wide shelves. Each shelf is stacked 2 back and some are stacked 2 high. And unfortunately... it's full and we're running out of room
